Agreement to terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Konyet’s apps, websites, and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account, selecting the acceptance checkbox, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the Service.
Description of service
Konyet provides tools that allow users to create and join communities, publish posts and other material, react and comment, share opportunities, submit applications, and communicate with other users. Most material available through the Service is created by users, not by Konyet.
User accounts
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it current.
- You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and for activity under your account.
- You must promptly notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
- You may not sell, transfer, or allow another person to misuse your account.
- You must be legally able to agree to these Terms. If applicable law requires permission from a parent or guardian, you must obtain it before using Konyet.
User content and ownership
“User Content” means posts, comments, messages, images, files, community information, opportunity listings, applications, profile information, and other material submitted through Konyet.
You retain ownership of your User Content. Konyet does not claim ownership merely because you upload or share it through the Service.
Licence to operate the Service
When you submit User Content, you grant Konyet a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, process, display, transmit, and distribute that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and provide the Service. This includes making content available to other users according to the community and visibility settings you choose and allowing our service providers to process it on our behalf.
This licence ends when your content is deleted from our active systems, except where copies must remain temporarily in backups, where another user has independently shared or incorporated the content, or where retention is reasonably required for security, dispute resolution, enforcement, or legal compliance.
Your responsibility for User Content
You are solely responsible for your User Content and the consequences of sharing it. You confirm that:
- You created the content or have all rights and permissions required to share it.
- The content does not violate any law or another person’s intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights.
- You have appropriate authority or consent before sharing another person’s personal information.
- Your content and use of Konyet will comply with these Terms and any rules shown within a community.
Acceptable use
You must not use Konyet to create, upload, promote, or distribute:
- Illegal content or material that facilitates illegal activity.
- Child sexual-abuse or exploitation material, or content that endangers a child.
- Threats, harassment, bullying, hate, incitement to violence, or content intended to cause serious harm.
- Sexually explicit, exploitative, or non-consensual intimate content.
- Fraud, scams, impersonation, deceptive activity, or deliberately harmful false information.
- Content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights.
- Another person’s confidential or personal information without lawful authority.
- Malware, spam, unauthorized advertising, or material designed to disrupt or compromise the Service.
You must also not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
- Scrape, automate access to, reverse engineer, or overload the Service except where Konyet has given written permission or applicable law expressly allows it.
- Evade a suspension, ban, content restriction, or other safety measure.
- Misuse reporting tools or knowingly submit false or abusive reports.
Community owners and administrators
Community owners and administrators are users of Konyet; they are not Konyet employees, agents, or representatives. They may set community rules, manage membership, and remove content or members from communities they control. They are responsible for exercising those permissions lawfully and fairly. Konyet may override a community decision when needed to enforce these Terms, protect the Service, or comply with law.
Moderation, reports, and removal
Konyet does not endorse User Content and does not guarantee that it is accurate, lawful, safe, or appropriate. To protect users and the Service, Konyet may investigate, restrict, hide, preserve, remove, or disable access to User Content and may warn, suspend, or terminate accounts or communities when we reasonably believe that:
- The content or conduct violates these Terms, community rules, or applicable law.
- A user report, rights-holder notice, or lawful request requires investigation or action.
- The content or conduct may harm users, third parties, Konyet, or the security or availability of the Service.
- Action is required to meet an app-store or service-provider requirement.
Konyet may act whether or not content has been reported and, when reasonably necessary, without prior notice. Except where applicable law requires otherwise, Konyet is not obligated to pre-screen or continuously monitor all User Content. Moderation decisions involve judgment, and we cannot guarantee that every objectionable item will be identified or removed immediately.
Use the reporting tools available in the app when possible. You may also report unlawful, unsafe, or rights-infringing content to support@konyet.com. Include a link or identifier for the content, the reason for the report, and information that allows us to assess it. Do not post confidential or sensitive information in the public Telegram support group.
Privacy and data
Our Privacy Policy explains how Konyet collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects personal information. You remain responsible for personal information that you include in User Content and for ensuring that you have authority to share it.
Interactions, opportunities, and external services
Konyet provides tools that help users communicate and publish opportunities. Unless we expressly say otherwise, Konyet is not an employer, recruiter, representative, guarantor, or party to an agreement between users. Users are responsible for verifying other people, listings, claims, and external links before relying on them or exchanging money, information, or services.
Account deletion and retention
You may request account deletion through the app settings. We will delete or de-identify account information from active systems, subject to reasonable technical limitations and exceptions described in the Privacy Policy. Content already shared with a community may remain where necessary to preserve conversations, records, or other users’ legitimate use, but we may remove identifying account details. We may retain information where required by law or reasonably needed for security, fraud prevention, disputes, or enforcement.
Service availability
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We work to keep Konyet available, but the Service may sometimes be interrupted, delayed, insecure, or unavailable. Keep independent copies of User Content that is important to you.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Konyet disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Konyet is not responsible for User Content or for decisions, losses, or disputes arising from another user’s content or conduct. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or responsibility that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Konyet and the people who operate the Service will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, opportunities, or business arising from the Service, User Content, or another user’s conduct. This limitation does not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Your responsibility for claims
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you are responsible for losses, claims, and reasonable costs incurred by Konyet because of your User Content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your material violation of these Terms or another person’s rights.
Suspension and termination
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the Service for a violation of these Terms, a risk to users or the Service, prolonged inactivity, or legal or operational reasons. We will provide notice when reasonably possible, but urgent action may be taken without advance notice. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, licences already required for retained copies, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions—will continue to apply.
Resolving concerns
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern in good faith. These Terms do not prevent either party from seeking a remedy available under applicable law or from complying with a lawful order.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the Service or applicable requirements change. We will post the revised Terms and update the date above. For material changes, we may also provide notice by email or in the app and request renewed acceptance. Continued use after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
